JOB OVERVIEW  

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professionals to join our team in the role of Fall 2025 Co-Op Student to start in September 2025. 

We are looking for students enrolled in one of the following programs:  

• Computer Science 
• Software Development 
• Cybersecurity/IT 
• Data Analytics 
• Business Management & Technology 
• Engineering (Software, Nuclear, Computer, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Process System, Mechatronics, Industrial) 
• Finance 
• Project Controls & Management 
• Communications & Public Relations 
• Health & Medical Physics 
• Marketing 
• Graphics Design & Digital Marketing 
• Mathematics 
• Occupational Health and Safety 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES   

• Contribute to projects aligned with your field and career interests, applying classroom knowledge to practical assignments. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. 
• Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes relevant to the industry. 
• Take ownership of tasks, support daily operations, and seek mentorship for professional growth. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a recognized college or university majoring in one of the following disciplines: 
  • Computer Science 
  • Software Development 
  • Cybersecurity/IT 
  • Data Analytics 
  • Business Management & Technology 
  • Engineering (Software, Nuclear, Computer, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Process System, Mechatronics, Industrial) 
  • Finance 
  • Project Controls & Management 
  • Communications & Public Relations 
  • Health & Medical Physics 
  • Marketing 
  • Graphics Design & Digital Marketing 
  • Mathematics 
  • Occupational Health and Safety 
• Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies (college or university) by the start of the work term. 
• Returning to full-time studies after the work term or require the placement to graduate. 
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 70% (transcript required).

*OPG will be relocating our Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) to the Durham Region. As a result, if your business unit is impacted, your base location of employment will be 1908 Colonel Sam Drive, Building Code O11 starting in Summer 2025, but you will report to the Work Location listed in your offer letter until the relocation. If you are impacted by this change, we will provide you with further instructions about the move closer to this date.
